Hi, I'm Praveen.

I got into product management almost by accident: I was the person on my team who kept asking "wait, why are we building this?" long before anyone called that a job title. Turns out that instinct is most of the job. Since then I've spent my career talking to users and pushing back on engineers and stakeholders when the plan stopped matching what people actually needed. Based in Bengaluru, and always happiest in the discovery phase of a new problem.

I'm somewhere between too many tabs open and a half-written doc I keep coming back to. Most days start with a list that's too long and end with a list that's slightly less long. Best thinking happens well after midnight, once things go quiet and the inbox stops refreshing.

Amateur chef

Weekends usually end with me elbow-deep in a recipe I have no business attempting. Right now it is dosa batter, specifically the fermentation time and the grind ratio. Ask me about it, I dare you.

Trekking

One long weekend, one new trail through the Western Ghats, every single time. Still figuring out the right shoes.

Terrible at cricket

Still shows up every Sunday, mostly for the chai and the running commentary from the sidelines.
